Activities and Groups
Activity groups at the Centre currently include lifestyle-classes such as Zumba, Yoga, Weight Watchers and Keep Fit. Along with weekly classes in Tai-jutsu, Tai Kwon Do and Tai Chi.
Childrens groups such as Semi-quavers, Grace Notes and Monkey Music provide an exuberant outlet for young children and an opportunity for parents to take a break from the pressures of child-rearing and share their experiences with others. These groups are supplemented by the Jane Morbey Toy Library (toy lending service), a weekly parenting support group, NCT classes and Baby Signing. For older children there are dance classes and Kumon Maths and English, and martial arts lessons.
We are also the home of two Day Centres, one for adults with learning difficulties and the other for people with memory loss.
If you are interested in local history you may like to join Thame Historical Group who meet here monthly. Or you may be interested in joining the Sewing Group who meet here on a Tuesday morning.
Our popular Tea Dances are held fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons.
